Sue Hall, Owner & Sugar Artist
What started off as a small home bakery business has blossomed into a full blown career. With an eye for detail and a passion for baking, I create unique and memorable treats that are a small part of people's special life moments.

I am a single mother of two amazing children and an angel in heaven, a lover of coffee and creator of delicious food.
I am a self-taught baker who grew up in my grandmother's kitchen just outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania. This is where my love of all things cooking and baking began.
I lost my grandmother to cancer on February 2, 2010, but I know she has a huge smile on her face as she looks down on me and sees my love of all she taught me in the kitchen continues.

I am happiest when I am in the kitchen creating and learning new things that I can offer my amazing customers. I absolutely love being a part of people's special moments with my edible sugar art!
Before opening Cranked Up Confections, I spent time as the Head Chef at hunting lodges in Illinois, Kentucky, Montana and Kansas where I created full menus for dozens of hungry hunters every day. Giving them everything from breakfast, lunch and diner to tables full of grab and go items as well as fresh baked sweets and treats.

I also spent time in New Orleans to meet and learn from keto expert and best selling author Maria Emmerich, Swerve Chef Ben McLauchlin and Swerve President & CEO Andress Blackwell.
Recently, I even got to meet The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, and give her some custom cookies I made just for her and for Sheriff Terry. I have also baked for Congressman Ron Estes, Senator Jerry Moran, Karl "The Mailman" Malone, Sadie Bass, Craig Morgan, Jeb Burton and many more!
