Every custom cookie order is created just for you, so full payment is required to reserve your pickup date and secure your spot on my calendar.Orders are not considered booked until payment has been received.Invoices are due within 48 hours. If payment isn't received by then, your invoice will automatically be canceled and your requested date may become available for another customer.Orders are always reserved on a first-paid, first-booked basis.Once your order is confirmed, I begin planning your designs, ordering supplies, and reserving time exclusively for your order.

Lead Times

Once you have your event date and guest count, the sooner you reach out, the better! Custom cookies require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice so I have plenty of time to create your designs, gather supplies, and make sure your cookies are made with the attention to detail they deserve.My calendar can fill quickly, and some dates go faster than others, so I recommend booking as early as possible to reserve your spot.

Rush Orders

Need cookies sooner than 2 weeks? I completely understand that sometimes life happens and celebrations sneak up on us! While my standard turnaround time is a minimum of 14 days' notice, I may be able to accommodate last-minute orders if my schedule allows and I have the necessary supplies available.Rush orders requested with less than 14 days' notice are not guaranteed and are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If I am able to fit your order into my schedule, a 25% Rush ("Miracle") Fee will apply to orders placed with less than 14 days' notice because creating cookie magic on a tight timeline takes a little extra sparkle.Please note that rush availability is limited, and I may not always be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

Design & Inspiration

Colors & DesignsWhen placing your order please provide exact details of what you are envisioning. Inspiration pictures, color schemes and other input is always welcome! The more information you provide about your special occasion the better.​Color MatchingPictures are worth a thousand words. But they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with. Colors and designs of actual order may vary slightly from images provided or sent by you, due to the difference in digital and edible components. Also - cookies in photos may not be true to size! (which is a bummer, I'd frankly love to eat an 8.5x11 in cookie).​Inspiration PicsThanks tons for bringing those inspo pictures! They're just that - inspiring. While design inspiration photos are extremely helpful for me to get an idea of the look you want, please understand that to respect other people's talents, I do not make exact copies of anyone else's work and I will not provide perfect replicas. Please feel free to attach any pictures, party decor, invitations, cookie and cake design, etc. and we will use those resources to create personalized items you are sure to love.A Note on AI Generated InspirationI love when you bring me ideas for your dream decorated cookies, cakes, and cupcakes! But here’s the thing: if your inspiration photo was created with AI, it may not be fully realistic — think gravity-defying flowers, icing thinner than a hair, or details that simply don’t exist outside of robot land. While I’ll always do my best to capture the vibe and style you’re going for, exact replication of AI designs isn’t possible. Because here’s the truth: AI can fake it, but I bake it — and real icing has limits. So treat AI inspo like a mood board, not a blueprint—I’ll take that fantasy and turn it into something gorgeous, delicious, and 100% real.​​

Question 5

Receiving Your Order

Local Order Pick UpPick up dates, times and locations are set upon ordering. This is because other customers need their goodies too! I have pick up and dates and times to accommodate most schedules - so put that order in your calendar!Once your date has been scheduled, you will be expected to arrive on time or be available to accept delivery. Due to the perishable nature of these products, if pick up/delivery still has not taken place by the end of the next business day, your order will be forfeited without refund. But take heart - I'll donate the items to a well deserving family or organization.Once you have received your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies is all on you. Follow the Care Care Instructions to keep your items safe.ShippingAs much as I'd love to hand deliver each and every item - unfortunately, I need the help of USPS Priority Mail to get goodies into the hands of customers who are not local to me. I do my best to package all shipped items for a rough ride, but damaged items are a possibility and a non-refundable risk you take when placing a shipped order. While I ship USPS Priority Mail, I can't guarantee that "rain, sleet, snow or hail" won't delay your order. Refunds can't be offered - but know that they're on their way. Once tracking information is provided, claims for lost orders can be placed with USPS. If your item is returned due to your providing an incorrect mailing address, due to perishability of the items, I must dispose of the contents and no refunds will be issued.​

Changes & Cancellations

Date/Time ChangesNeed to reschedule your order? Please reach out no less than 3 days prior to your pick up or delivery date. However please keep in mind that because I do book up so quickly and have other obligations that a reschedule date must be done around my schedule. Customer CancellationsPayments are not refunded in case of a customer cancellation. Any payments made can be applied to future orders if cancellation is made at within 24 hours of the order being placed.​Baker CancellationsCranked Up Confections does reserve the right to cancel orders in case of an illness or emergency and 100% of payment will be refunded in this situation. Oh Mother NatureIn the event of an unavoidable situations such as a tornado, fire or any other Act of Nature, no refunds will be given and you may reschedule for a full store credit.​

Discounts & Donations

Unfortunately, quantity does not equate to cost/time savings and therefore I do not offer a discount based on quantity.DonationsI absolutely love supporting our community, and I'm honored every time someone asks me to donate. Unfortunately, as a one-woman small business, every batch of cookies, cake, and cookie cutters comes directly from my own time and pocket. Because of that, I'm unable to offer donations, gift certificates, or sponsorships.The best way to support both your cause and my small business is by placing an order or purchasing a gift certificate. If you'd like to share, I'd absolutely love to see photos of your cookies in action. Whether it's your birthday celebration, wedding, baby shower, holiday gathering, or your little one showing off their favorite cookie, your photos may be featured on my website, social media, or other marketing materials. By sending photos to Cranked Up Confections, you grant permission for me to use them for promotional purposes.

Question 9

Allergens & Other Risks

Allergen NoticeAll of my items are made in a kitchen containing known food allergens including but not limited to milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten, soybean and sesame and as such we cannot guarantee cross-contact will not occur or that any of our items are free from traces of these allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold Cranked Up Confections harmless for allergic reactions. If you are concerned about ANY type of allergy, I strongly advise against placing an order.​A Little Note on IngredientsI love y’all, but I don’t do gluten-free, vegan, keto, or other “special request” desserts. I bake the old-fashioned way — with real butter, real sugar, real flour, and a whole lot of attitude. If you can eat the classics, you’re exactly where you belong.​​​​​In Sickness and in HealthWhile death will never do us part, you're consuming food and with the consumption of anything (including that bottle of wine last night) there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities - albeit, hopefully far reaching.

Refund Policy

At Cranked Up Confections, every custom cookie order is created especially for you. From the moment your payment is received, I begin reserving time on my calendar, planning your order, and purchasing supplies specifically for your event. Once payment has been received, your order is considered final and cannot be canceled or refunded.Because of the custom nature of my products, all cookie sales are final and no refunds will be issued except as outlined below.If I must cancel your order due to illness or another unforeseen emergency that prevents me from fulfilling your order, you will receive a 100% refund.In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, or other Acts of God that prevent your order from being completed or picked up, I reserve the right to offer store credit or a rescheduled pickup in place of a refund.Refunds will not be issued because you:Changed your mind.Found a lower price elsewhere.No longer need the order.Forgot or failed to pick up your order during the agreed-upon pickup window.Missed your scheduled pickup time.Disliked the design after placing your order or after the cookies have been completed.Failed to read the product description or ordering policies.By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this No Refund Policy.
